Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in which thin needles are inserted into the body at strategic points.

Acupuncture has been used for over two thousand years as a way to treat illness and keep well.  The human body has more than 2000 acupuncture points connected by pathways or meridians. These pathways create an energy flow (Qi) through the body that is responsible for overall health. Disruption of energy flow can cause diseases. It aims to bring the body back into balance so it can perform its natural processes with ease and vitality.

Acupuncture can relieve discomfort associated with a variety of diseases and conditions, including:

  • Fibromyalgia
